During her senior year of high school, Brin relocated to Cambridge, Mass from Concord, NH, where her sister, mother, and father reside. She has a passion for music and plays piano, guitar, and cello. Brin is a freshman at UMass Boston planning to major in Music Education.

Brin teaches Learn to Skate and coaches private students to help pay for her skating costs. She is a member of PSA.

Brin and Dan start their day at 5:00 am at the Skating Club of Boston and skate for several hours. They continue their daily off-ice training at the rink and two other locations in the Cambridge area.
